HOW COULD YOU BE SO HEARTLESS;; not done « Thread Started on Jul 1, 2009, 12:46pm »
As if the mare could be less then regal She was already beautiful, the flame licked body was long and lean with muscle. Her head was smaller but her eyes were big and small ears that was pricked forward. She shook her head and her body, not breaking the slow breezing gallop she had been so trained to when she was a domesticated mare. She lowered her head and picked her legs up higher, slowing her down just enough so she wouldn't trip on any unknown roots.
The snow was falling faster then she could run, so she just gave up on trying to beat it. She whinnied and continued to gallop, the snow falling from her back and other flakes wooshing in the wind that she created. She ran through the edges of the Forrest and dug her hooves into the sand and brought her hind quarters under her belly, stopping her immediately. Her ears went back and forth, taking in the sight of the ocean. It was still snowing, and the oceans till wrung up and down on the smooth sand. She took a few timid steps forward, then stopping, tucking her legs under her and laying down to roll.
It was a habit she didn't feel like breaking. She rolled up, up up, then she was on the other side, rolling over three times, she finally felt satisfied about the sand covering her back and she leaned up, standing on her small gems. She shook and the sand being wet, only a little fell off. She jumped forward with her head high and galloped, plunging into the cold, wet water. She snorted and reared tall, splashing the water up and soaking her whole body. She came crashing down and looked down at the salty water that was rising up to her chest.
Moving towards the shore, she trotted out, her legs moving high she she would actually move.
Honey, don't stray to far...
I wont, she replied to the voice in her head. It was just like her mother's, just like when they were in the field with the other horses and Aunt Mae, the big old Clydesdale mare. She sighed and continued to walk up the back until she felt satisfied she was far enough from the tide. The snow had stopped falling and she sighed, turning on her haunches and looking up at the sky again and seeing the opening in the sky. It was beautiful. Just above the clouds was the sun. It sat at an angle. The sky, a orange signaling the end of the long day.
She was not some hokey mare that wanted a million children. In fact, she wanted a stallion, yes, but she only wanted one child from him. Let it be a femme of foke, it didn't matter. It shouldn't matter.....
i so do not feel like posting...
