Desperado powered up the steep slopes to his claim. The flowers all around blurred together, a mix of lights darks. Finally he slowed to a stop.
"Here it is," he said, turning to Aero. "Do you like it?"
She gasped as she gazed around. "It's beautiful." She murmered. The clover went up halfway to her knees, and it was blooming gloriously. The range of colors was blinding and awe inspireing... She gazed at the delicate flowers at her feet a moment longer before snatching a huge mouthful. A groan of sheer bliss escape her as she chewed.
She studied the landscape as she grazed. It was much cooler down here than the forest they had just come from. The snow on the peaks she could see in the distance would explain that. It'll be heck come winter, but in the mean time... She didn't notice any other horses. Or any other signs of horses either. She turned her head toward Desperado to ask, but hesitated. Would a stalion take offense at you assuming he doesn't have any other mares...? She decided not to ask. If there were others she would meet them soon. Relaxing her hip and cocking a hoof, she settled down to wait to see what Desperado wanted now.
(OOC: I didn't know whether to right it here or in the claim, so I started a new one... Hope that's okay? I can change it if not...)

Desperado was glad that Aero liked it. He grazed beside her for a while before speaking to her again.
"Would you like to see the cave?" he asked.

Aurealus lifted her head. She had been half asleep, but his voice brought her senses back quickly. She blinked. Cave... That must be the shelter...
"Alright." She murmered with a yawn as she shook off the last traces of her weariness. It annoyed her that she got tired so suddenly. But, a few weeks on this clover will cure that, she thought. She walked toward Desperado as she waited to see what direction he'd take...

Desperado turned up toward the higher peaks of the mountain. His legs pushing him up the steeper slopes. The grass was getting a bit sparse as he reached the mouth of the cave. It was sheltered from the wind and looked out over the land they had just traveled. A spring flowed out from the rock near the mouth of the cave.
Desperado walked in. His head didn't even down close to the roof of the cave. It was a shallower cave, but room enough for a large herd of horses.

Aero followed Desperado farther up the mountain. The grass was just starting to thin out as they reached a cave. Darn it! She thought. I'm hungry... A spring flowed nearby, and she paused to drink from it before turning her attention back to the stallion. The cave seemed to dwarf him abit, it was so big. She peered into the back. At least the sun lights the whole thing... I get nervous in the dark, she reminded herself. I'm not afraid of the dark, it's what's in the dark that makes me wonder if something's going to pounce on me... There were very faint scars that ran across her hips to testify that it was very easy to be hunted when you can't see... She turned her attention back to the stallion once more.
"So, Desperado... What now?" She asked with a tilt of her head. She was already starting to relax in his presence. Surely if he meant me harm he would have done it already... Wouldn't he?
