New Layouts?

I was wondering if I could start on a new layout.. Maybe get rid of these premade ones and make a couple different colors so you guys can choose? What do you think? Post colors below, if you like the idea. ^^

I also hope you guys don't mind if I add pictures to all the lands. :3 I think it'll look nice, no? Ideas please! :D

Personally, the current layouts don't bother me at present (actually, the grey one is easier on my eyesight), so I got nothing there. Except that I like the grey one because it doesn't spork my eyes.

I like the Land Pictures idea, though. Here, I have suggestions for the lands I own:

Well, this place seems kinda dead, so Dingo and I decided to switch the board and start clean and fresh, and maybe get it going again. C:

Uuuuh...you couldn't let the Moderators know, Hayley? Also, what does switching mean for us with lands and plots going on? What does it mean for us still doing threads? Some of us are a bit busy right now, but we *still* have things going. Lejea and I have four threads going all with plots, like in Apollo's Guard, I have one going in Lonely Valley...

Ultimately though, you could have made us aware sooner. That's your job as main Admin! Now I'm thinking we're going to lose EVERYTHING we have here! I'm sorry, but I don't want to go to a new place if it means losing what I've made here - my land, my characters, their relationships and plots with others. With other people too, I might add. I'll even list them if I have to:

And I can't even remember off the top of my head the other four. The only reason it's quiet is because we all have real lives, and we spend about two days to a week doing our posts. It's not dead, it just gets quiet.

And you're moving everything with the implication that everything has to start over? If that's the case, I won't be apart of the new site, and I won't allow Apollo's Guard to be one of the lands over there, for one.

- It would have been nice for an earlier warning, yes, considering we are a part of the staff, but seeing as to how the site is incomplete, I don't see an issue with it.. And as this thread was started with a general question, maybe Pooz was looking for a vote from the members? Then again, a lot of the members have been absent lately, so she assumed this site was dead, and was simply going to start new?

- And the pictures are gorgeous, dear. Death Valley is absolutely beautiful. If only SnowFall could be present in that picture. <3

- And about the plots, characters, etc... Erm.. I really don't want to lose all of what I've worked so hard to keep, as I'm sure the rest of the active members of this site would agree. Couldn't we just transfer our bios, land ownerships, plots, and whatnot to this new site? It might be a little bit time consuming for those without Record Lists, but other than that, we're in the clear.

- And maybe starting new threads will bring more muse, except for the ones only recently created, of course.. Perhaps a time lapse of some sort..?

- I actually had an idea about having Jiraya already fully grown and out to claim his own territory, Sammy. x3 Maybe Tsunade follows after a little while? Eventually Gaara is spotted in some unclaimed land and Jiraya leaves in search of him? Scream and Anko's 'skills' are needed once again? Think it'll be worth a shot?

I am not being mean, Lejea. I'm responding purely with how I *felt* when I read that. Which was hurt, panic, betrayal and anger. And justifiably so. I won't take back a thing I said, because it was true. I won't join a new site and abandon what I have here; I will *never* allow Apollo's Guard to be taken from me until I can no longer physically be on the site.

And you said it yourself - the warning? What warning? I post pictures thinking they're for here, happily putting in the fun and the effort for this place, as usual, and in return, I get the implication that everything is going to be whitewashed elsewhere, including the hard work you and I have put into our characters, our land, our plots without getting it cleared up whatsoever...how am I supposed to react? I work as hard as I can on this site, always as best I can for the main Admin, whether I'm busy or sick, and was going to find ways to do so while I was away at my Defence Forces training. I'll reiterate; I have characters on here, that I love and have worked to the bone on, a land I worked equally hard on, and plots and relationships with other characters that I try to start up and keep going. And it's always open. The only people who think it never is is the people who are going to fail at IRL because they can't take a bit of conflict and 'no spotlight on them constantly'.

I'm not going to be all sweet and 'teehee, that's okay' about something I'm not, okay? I never have been, because for me, it's lying if I pretend to react in a way I wouldn't. I've said my piece, and while I'm sure they really couldn't give a shit about what I think or feel if they're making a new site and whitewashing everything with no warning or offer to even help them, but I've said my piece.

Again, I reacted how anyone who loves something and has put effort into it would react after being told that implication. And that was panic, then hurt, then betrayal. And believe me, all three of those end up in anger. Just like IRL.

But seriously, guys, I'm still sorry if you get all offended and upset. It's not the first time people have with me, but unfortunately, you're always going to get how I seriously feel about something. Nothing more, nothing less. And if you didn't mean it this way, sorry again, but the way it's been implied as to what it is has been nothing short of shoddy.

- As for the idea, LJ...well, honestly, I'm not really with it, because Hector isn't getting any younger, and he *was* going to name Jiraya the heir to Apollo's Guard. On top of that, it goes against Tsunade's character to leave the place forever. Much as she loves Jiraya, and Gaara, she won't leave Apollo's for good. But if Jiraya wants to leave, it's his decision...I'd just have to bring Gaara back into it somehow.

Well, now... I think you're both (LJ and Sammy) right... a warning definitely WOULD have been nice, especially since the site isn't completely dead & at least one person is on every 24 hours (from what I've seen). But srsly... I don't want to lose everything and have to just start over AGAIN on a whole new site ;-;

I was going to try to figure out a way to come back here too, and was thinking about starting thread replies tonight as a matter of fact lol.

- Valid points, Sams.. Very valid.

- Why not have this site remain open to those who wish to stay here and help it grow.. Pooz, if you don't want to keep running it, the Global Mods could become Admins and keep management up, since two of them already say they'd rather stay. And then those who want to start afresh on this new site can simply go there, or even be on both, as I might do.. Just an idea. =/ Trying to make everyone happy, but I doubt that will happen...
