Aqua De Lua or Lua had been walking for days. At first she ran, as hard and as fast and as long as she could. She wanted to get as far away from that awful place as she could, and as fast as she could. She vowed to herself that she would never look back. The sun was shining bright today. there was a light breeze and there were a few clowds lingering in the sky. A few birds played in the trees and there were also some butterflies fluttering around the wildflowers. Lua's dapple grey coat glittered under the sunshine and her silky black mane flowed as her elegant head moved as she walked. Her long slender legs moved gracefully, seeming to never touch the ground. Off in the distance Lua noticed a little stream. She had grown thirsty some time ago and she started trotting towards the stream. The cool, crisp water felt glorious as it surounded her heated legs. She lowered her head and sipped. She could feel the water flow down her throat and settle in the pit of her stomach. She felt revived and renewed. This was a big change to the dirty water at her previous home. She had her fill as stepped out of the little stream. She took in her surroundings, hoping to see another equine, but there was none. Lua was very lonely. She hadnt talked to another horse in five days. She hoped to find... something here. A friend, A mate, A family.
